Netgear Orbi 870 offers very good and secure Wi-Fi 7 for your home

The Netgear Orbi systems have been my favorite for years thanks to their speed, reliability, range and security. It’s just a shame that they come with a really high price tag. Netgear today announced the launch of the new Orbi 870 mesh system, which aims to make Wi-Fi 7 more accessible to homes of all sizes. I saw all these latest systems at the CES tech fair in Las Vegas.

The Netgear Orbi 870 should provide high speeds, reduced latency and sufficient capacity for large users. And we are major consumers nowadays if you add up all our devices at home that use the internet. Especially if there are more people at home who watch Netflix on their mobile device, work from home or play games.
With this system you can effortlessly stream ultra-high-definition content, work remotely and play games without interruptions. Orbi 870 supports up to 150 devices simultaneously.

The Orbi 870 offers a range of security features to protect your network and devices. This includes automatic firmware updates, VPN support, advanced WPA3 security, access control and options for guest and IoT WiFi networks.
The Orbi 870 series is equipped with Netgear’s advanced Advanced Router Protection feature (available exclusively from Netgear). This technology uses AI and practical approaches, as well as abuse prevention, to detect and block security threats. In addition, threats can be quickly addressed with live patches, without having to wait for a firmware update. This ensures a faster response to security issues and increases the overall protection of the network.
For extra protection, the Orbi 870 Series includes a 30-day trial of Netgear Armor, which provides an additional automatic layer of security and extra privacy with VPN. Also, the 870 Series comes with Netgear smart parental controls to easily manage children’s time online to promote good family habits.
