Kawasaki’s Z H2 may not be the most sporty or flashy Hypernaked on the market (if you could even classify it as that), but thanks to its Supercharger it is the most unique. For 2022, Team Green has come up with a new color for the flagship of the Z family.
Admittedly, when we think of Hypernakeds we think more of bikes like the Tuono V4, 1290 Superduke, Streetfighter V4, the Brutale 1000 RR or the Speed Triple 1200 RS, bikes with an emphasis on track, than the Kawasaki Z H2 with the emphasis on the public road. This means that the Z H2 appeals less to the imagination of circuit enthusiasts, but is the best to drive on public roads and at least as impressive to drive.
We experienced this two years ago in Las Vegas during the last presentation before the coronapleuris broke out and at the beginning of this year in our own Zeeland during the presentation of the Z H2 SE, the ultimate version of the Supercharged naked equipped with Showa’s. Skyhook electronically controlled suspension and Brembo brakes.
For model year 2022, Kawasaki did not make any updates to the Z H2, but did come up with a new color: Metallic Graphite Gray / Metallic Diablo. The color Metallic Graphite Gray / Metallic Diablo Black has remained, the color in which the Z H2 SE is only available.
The 2022 Z H2 and Z H2 SE are available immediately, but it is not yet known how much they will cost. That will be announced by Kawasaki shortly.
