Nissan has got the teaser taste, and that’s not surprising. After all, the brand finally comes with a successor to the very old 370Z. Next week, Nissan will present a concrete preview of that newcomer to the world in the form of the Z Proto. Today the brand shows a new teaser video, in which details of the Z can be seen.
Nissan has several times revealed ghosts and snatches from the following week’s Z Proto show. It is not surprising that the brand is warming up the press and public for the arrival of the herald of a completely new model within the Z family. The current 370Z is more than ten years old and needs to be replaced. The new Z promises to fall back on the more strongly than the current model roots of the Z family.
In a new teaser video, Nissan again shows a few details of the Z Proto, although it doesn’t make us any wiser. Better than before, it can be seen that the sports car will get a manual six-speed gearbox, although of course it cannot be ruled out that a version with an automatic transmission will also be available in the long term. The Z Proto gets relatively round headlights, which hark back to the viewers of the original. Nissan also seems to pay homage to the primal Z with the wide lighting at the rear. The return of the strikingly designed B-pillar has already been confirmed in an earlier teaser video.

It is not yet entirely certain which power source will power the new Z. It is not inconceivable that Nissan prefers the 400 hp V6, which supplies the luxury division Infiniti outside the Dutch borders in a number of models. Please be patient, on September 16 the Japanese present the Z Proto to the world.
