New Class
BMW will soon present perhaps the most important study model in decades: the Vision Neue Class. It shows what future pure electric models will look like. One important style element is already known.
Where BMW shows with cars such as the 4-series/i4, the iX, the 7-series and the XM that the ‘kidneys’ can also cover most of the nose as far as the designers are concerned, BMW is going in a different direction with its new EVs. This is evident from this new teaser image of the BMW Vision Neue Class. With that study model, BMW shows broadly during IAA Mobility in Munich how the completely new dedicated electric models come out. Electric cars no longer need a grille (at most a fake grille to hide sensors and cameras) and so, according to BMW, things can be a bit more subtle.
It is not a big surprise, by the way, because two previously published study models already gave some tips for the Vision Neue Class. We are talking about the BMW i Vision Circular, which was also presented at the IAA in 2021, and the BMW i Vision Dee, which was published last year. Carefully count on the Vision Neue Class to be a big brother of the ‘Dee’. Where it was supposed to give an idea of an electric 3-series of the future, the Vision Neue Class will probably already be a very production-ready preview of an electric SUV or larger sedan. On September 2, the curtain of the BMW Vision Neue Class. So next Saturday.
