New Fiat 600 also for sale as a mild hybrid

The brand new Fiat 600 could already be ordered as an electric 600e. It is now also on the Dutch price list with mild-hybrid petrol engines.

In the middle of last year, Fiat was also awarded a compact crossover by Stellantis in the segment of cars such as the Peugeot 2008 and Opel Mokka. Fiat of course already had the 500X, but that technically aging model cannot be supplied with electric powertrains. The 500X will remain for a while, but will be joined by the slightly smaller Fiat 600. The hardware of that car does accommodate electric powertrains. Not only that: it is also available as a mild hybrid. Now the first Dutch price of the Fiat 600 Hybrid has been announced.

The electric Fiat 600e is available from just under 36 grand. The mild-hybrid Fiat 600 Hybrid is below this with a provisional starting price of €31,990. Provisional? Of course. Fiat immediately introduces the 600 Hybrid as the top version La Prima. To introduce the model, Fiat has decided to make that version slightly cheaper than it will be after April 1. The additional cost is temporarily €2,500 instead of €5,000. Ultimately, the Fiat 600 Hybrid will also be available as an Urban, for €29,490. The price of the La Prima will then go to €34,490.

The Fiat 600 Hybrid has the 100 hp variant of Stellantis’ mild-hybrid 1.2 under the hood. This machine is linked as standard to a six-speed automatic transmission that incorporates the electric motor.
