The test work with the new Ranger is in full swing and Ford therefore believes the time is right to show something of its pick-up again. We expect the official unveiling of the Ford Ranger next year.
With its birth year 2011, the current Ford Ranger is not exactly very young, although it is not exceptional in commercial vehicle land that models last so long. Still, a fresh Ranger is welcome and Ford has been busy with a whole new generation, which the manufacturer now shows in a teaser video.
We don’t learn much from it, though. In terms of design, the new Ford Ranger seems to follow the path of its predecessor, although the car will have a front that will resemble that of its big brother F-150 more than before. There’s something else special about the Ranger. At least, with Volkswagen’s competitor Amarok. The new Amarok will in fact be the Volkswagen variant of the new Ranger. Once on the market, the Ranger, which will also have a Raptor version, can sink its teeth into the Toyota Hilux and Nissan Navara, among others.
