Honda will be launching a new generation Civic this year. Two interesting photos of the Japanese have now surfaced.
The adepts of Civic11oforum Places have got their hands on two images of the new generation Civic Sedan. Although Techzle was able to release the looks of the Hatchback and Sedan earlier and the design is no longer a surprise, it is always interesting to see actual photos of the new model.
The Chinese version of the Civic Sedan, which is visible in these photos, does not differ very much visually from the version that is being marketed in the United States and Europe, among others. The model is very similar to the Civic Prototype (photos 3 and 4) that Honda presented last year. Just like the Hatchback, the Sedan has a much calmer design than the current model. The only optical frivolity is in the kink in the shoulder line. As expected, the front is strongly reminiscent of that of big brother Accord.
According to the first information submitted by Honda to the Chinese patent office, the new Civic Sedan is 4.67 meters long and has a wheelbase of 2.74 meters. The distance between the front and rear axle is therefore four centimeters longer than it is now. The Sedan will also be 4 centimeters longer.
Incidentally, the question is whether Honda will also carry the Civic Sedan in addition to the Hatchback in the Netherlands. It is not yet known when Honda will present the international versions of the latest Civic Sedan and Hatchback.
