New Nissan X-Trail debuts in China

The Auto Shanghai will take place in China between 21 and 28 April. That’s where the new Nissan X-Trail will make its public debut, Nissan says.

The new Nissan Qashqai will be at Dutch dealers around the summer. It will of course get an X-Trail above it and that SUV will soon be given a new generation. Nissan indicates that the X-Trail will debut at Auto China in April. Although the car is new to the European market, the X-Trail itself is far from it.

The X-Trail that you can still find in Dutch showrooms is in fact nothing more than the European brother of the previous generation of the SUV called ‘Rogue’ in the United States. Indeed, the previous generation. The ‘new Rogue’ was already presented to the American public in mid-2020. The appearance of the new X-Trail therefore offers few surprises. In addition, Techzle has already recently been able to show you an extensive series of photos of the new Nissan Rogue as X-Trail.

The X-Trail will be roughly 4.68 meters long and will have a wheelbase of 2.71 meters. That makes it about 25 centimeters longer than the youngest Qashqai. In addition to two compact mild-hybrid petrol engines, the Qashqai also has an innovative e-Power powertrain. However, it is not yet certain that the X-Trail will also get those powertrains.
