
May is a somewhat quiet month on Disney +. There are, of course, ongoing series, such as Be Our Chef and Disney Family Sundays, but some are running out. Star Wars: The Clone Wars, for example. We are still enjoying the ongoing One Day at Disney series, but there is also news coming up, which is new on Disney + this month.

Although Marvel’s Runaways was actually shown on the streaming service Hulu, Disney + will also be featured season by season. So now the second season, of the total 3 seasons that exist in the series. Runaways is about six teenagers who have to compete with their parents. But of course they are not normal people, because we are talking about Marvel here. That means superheroes and super villains, with a lot of action and drama.

May 4 – Star Wars Day
Two additional releases on Star Wars Day, the very last episode of The Clone Wars. Not just seasonally, but with “Victory and Death” the popular Star Wars animated series is really coming to an end.
In addition, there will be a small treat for people who are big fans of The Mandalorian, of which the second season is expected in the autumn. To reflect on this top series on this Star Wars day, Disney presents its Disney Gallery: the Mandalorian. Here you get a look behind the scenes of the Disney + Original. Director Jon Favreau is interviewed and you will learn all about this series that put Disney + on the map.

Bill Farmer visits all kinds of dogs that have special hobbies and jobs. Think movie dogs, rescue dogs and even surfing dogs. Nice detail: Farmer has been the voice of Pluto (and Goofy) for many years.

Just Roll with It – series
Just Roll with It is a typical Disney series. It’s fun, live action and intended for the whole family. The series is set as usual, but if there is a sound, the live studio audience has to vote how the story continues. A special series in which actors occasionally step out of their characters. Very nice, because it looks slightly different.

Maleficent 2 – movie
It is probably Disney’s most impressive villain, Maleficent. In her own film series, she is played by the equally impressive Angelina Jolie. This film focuses on the band of Maleficent and her godson Aurora. That sounds very peaceful, but quite intense things happen in Maleficent. It remains the ultimate villain, of course.

The Evermoor Chronicles, also known as Evermoor, is a youth series that was shown on Disney Channel. It is about a family that moves from America to Great Britain.
