New on Netflix February 2018
Every month Netflix makes a slew of new series and films available. We look ahead every month on iPhone with a number of tips. These are often new series and films, but also old favorites that appear new on Netflix come along. All you have to do is add the series and movies to your list, or press play when the time comes. 1. Altered Carbon
The biggest series of this month is without a doubt Altered Carbon. Three hundred years in the future, your consciousness can be stored and put into a new body. Eternal life is therefore theoretically possible. In the series you follow Takeshi Kovacs, a soldier who is brought back to life to solve a murder for the wealthy Laurens Bancroft – his own. Starring Joel Kinnaman (The Killing, House of Cards).

2. Seven Seconds
After a white cop accidentally injures a black teen, tensions arise in an American city. The series is being produced by Veena Sud (The Killing) and is starring Regina King (The Leftovers). She plays the teen’s mother and finds out that her son has secrets. She investigates to uncover the truth.
Airing on Netflix from 23 February
3. Mute
Do you want more science fiction after Altered Carbon? Then the movie Mute is one to keep an eye on. Filmed by Duncan Jones (Moon), this film is about the stupid Leo who goes in search of his missing girlfriend. With Alexander Skarsgård, Paul Rudd and Justin Theroux in the lead roles, you step into a special world.

4. Everythings Sucks!
We have seen the eighties regularly appear in modern series and films. Now is the time for the 1990s. Everything Sucks! is about a group of teenagers who fall outside the popular clubs. The comic series is a parody of everything from the 1990s. So expect huge televisions, discmans and more.
Airing on Netflix from 16 February
5. Queer Eye
Fifteen years ago, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy was a hit on television. In the series, five men put the life of a different man back on track every episode. Now the series is back as Queer Eye and anyone can be a candidate for a visit from the new ‘fab five’. If we can rely on the trailer, this sequel has everything to become a nice and positive reality series again.
