New sign of life from electric Honda NSX successor

It looks like Honda is already working on an electric successor to the NSX behind the scenes. It may look similar to an electric concept car unveiled earlier this month.

At the beginning of this month, Honda presented some precursors to the so-called ‘0 series’ during the CES in Las Vegas. The 0 series will be a new range of fully electric models. The flashiest concept car we saw was the Saloon. The name indicates that it is a preview of a sedan-like car, but it also had something sporty about it, with its wedge-shaped body, low roofline and subtle headlights. It couldn’t be denied a touch of Lamborghini and with a little imagination you can also recognize some primal NSX in it. The latter can hardly be a coincidence.

In fact, that’s probably not a coincidence. In conversation with Coach CEO Toshihiro Mibe hints that Honda has an electric sports car in the maternity rooms. It would be part of the 0-series, so the Saloon undoubtedly lifts the veil when it comes to its appearance. Honda also called the Saloon the EV with which Honda strives for ‘the ultimate driving pleasure in the EV era’. Are there any more signs of an electric NSX successor? Of course; Acura CEO Jon Ikeda also hinted at this earlier.
