New Toyota Land Cruiser on the way

Toyota announces the arrival of a completely new Land Cruiser, the big brother of the Land Cruiser Prado, simply called Land Cruiser in the Netherlands. Toyota’s largest SUV will be presented on June 9.

If you visit a Dutch Toyota dealer, you may come across a robust SUV in the showroom that listens to the name Land Cruiser. That car is called Land Cruiser Prado outside the Dutch borders. The Land Cruiser Prado is the smaller brother of the full-fledged Land Cruiser, a model that has not been supplied in the Netherlands for years. That large Land Cruiser, once also called Land Cruiser V8, dates back to 2007, but is still sold in various parts of the world. After fourteen years, Toyota finally comes with a completely new Land Cruiser.

The new Land Cruiser is codenamed LC300 and that indicates that Toyota will not refresh the current Land Cruiser (J200). The new Toyota Land Cruiser will undoubtedly be about 5 meters long again, but despite its rugged appearance, it must also be luxurious. The Toyota Land Cruiser is a car that has cars like the Nissan Patrol as competitors. Lexus also sells its own version of the Land Cruiser in the form of the LX 570. Depending on the market, the outgoing J200 generation is also available with a 5.7 V8 petrol engine and a 4.5 V8 diesel engine in addition to a 4.0 V6 petrol engine. Whether the eight-cylinder will also make their appearance in the new Land Cruiser remains to be seen. We aim that the Land Cruiser will at least be available with a blown 3.5 V6 petrol engine.
