Electrically up the hill
Unhindered by any journalistic filter, we would like to put this very creative marketing expression from Nissan on your screen. It draws attention to the towing skills of the electric Nissan Ariya in a very striking way.
Nissan is eager to show that the electric Ariya e-4orce can more than adequately tow a caravan. The Dutch importer had the bright idea to hang a caravan behind a Nissan Ariya e-4orce and send the combination up a snowy slope. In the Netherlands!
We can’t remember the last time we saw a snow-covered hill in the Netherlands. Nissan sent the Ariya-with-caravan up the snow-covered slope with a gradient of 25 percent at SnowWorld in Landgraaf. Behind the wheel? None other than the Dutch crack nose Tim Coronel. In any case, the hiking adventure produces a striking video. The caravan, an LMC Sassino 390K with an empty weight of 869 to 961 kilos, causes few problems for the Ariya e-4orce, at least on asphalt. Both the 306 and the 396 hp Nissan Ariya e-4orce can tow up to 1,500 kilos. What it does to the range is of course another matter.
