The Nissan GT-R is not available on the market. The model has been around since 2007 and can count on a number of birthdays after fourteen years. The model is now available as a T-Spec in homeland Japan, among others.

Nissan keeps the GT-R somewhat current by annually introducing a model year update on its still impressive model. Even now there is GT-R news, although it is purely related to the flavors in which Nissan delivers the model. For example, the GT-R can be ordered as a T-Spec in its home country of Japan and in the United States. At least, as a Premium Edition T-Spec and as a ‘Track Edition Engineered by Nismo’ T-Spec. In this case, T-Spec is an addition to two existing versions.

The T-Specs bring things like carbon ceramic brakes, a carbon fiber rear spoiler, a special engine cover and – how could it be otherwise – T-Spec badging to the GT-R. Nissan also harks back to the past for the GT-R’s T-Spec, so you can order the special versions in the colors Midnight Purple and Millennium Jade. We know that first color from the Skyline GT-R (R34), Millenium Jade was only available on the exclusive V-Spec II Nür version of the same generation Skyline GT-R. The GT-R Track Edition Engineered by Nismo T-Spec will include a carbon fiber roof and a tailgate made of the same material. The T-Specs are also specially decorated inside. For example, there is a new Mori Green color scheme, complete with quilted Alcantara as a canopy.

The engine does not change anything and so the T-Specs ‘just’ have the powerful 570 hp strong 3.8 V6 with two turbos as a power plant. Only 100 T-Specs will be available worldwide.
