Nissan Hyper Force

Nissan is presenting five study models during the Japan Mobility Show. You already know four of them, but this fifth is completely new and is immediately the wildest. This is the Nissan Hyper Force.Next

After the Hyper Urban, Hyper Adventure, Hyper Tourer and Hyper Punk, this Hyper Force is the fifth show car that Nissan brings to the Japan Mobility Show. It is an equally angular and powerful sporty EV. According to Nissan, the new study models are all cars that symbolize the inspiration of the brand. That would mean that Nissan still has a nose for sporty models. This Hyper Force is, as its name suggests, quite powerful.

Nissan’s new range of study models.

According to Nissan, the Hyper Force has 1,360 hp. The car would also have solid state batteries. The angular body of the car, equipped with active aerodynamics, is made of carbon fiber. The rear lights and the silhouette are particularly interesting in the design of the car. You can clearly see influences from the GT-R. The Nissan GT-R is quite old. Don’t be surprised if Nissan looks ahead to a successor to that muscle bundle with this Hyper Force. However, Nissan does not speak of actual production plans.

The concept car has two driving modes: R (Racing) and GT (Grand Touring). In R mode it is of course the sportiest. In fact, in GT mode you don’t even have to steer yourself. The steering wheel folds away in that position. Moving around autonomously in an electric GT-R-like: is that the future? Completely futuristic: the Hyper Force comes with a Virtual Reality helmet that can offer the driver ‘a game-like driving experience’, complete with modes in which you can compete against the clock or against other ‘online racers’. Although Nissan speaks of a driving experience, this mode only works when the car is stationary. That sounds sensible.
