The Nissan Juke is a pretty hip flutter in itself, but it can always be a bit more pronounced. Nissan proves that with the Juke Kiiro, a special edition with a number of nice external extras.

Nissan presents a special limited edition of the Juke, the Kiiro. The name Kiiro does not come out of the blue, it means ‘yellow’ in Japanese. Although we are basically dealing with a dark gray Juke, yellow is the color of most of the accents that distinguish the Kiiro from regular Jukes. For starters, in the front and rear bumpers, the normally silver-grey inserts are now yellow in color. This is also the case on the sills.

In the interior, the yellow also stands out, in the stitching on the seat upholstery, door panels and on the center console and dashboard. The seats also offer something more than standard: the Kiiro always has heated front seats (and a heated windscreen). There is also a special plate just in front of the gear lever that reminds you that you are in the Juke Kiiro. There is also a special pattern, which also returns on the outside of the car. On the roof to be exact. According to Nissan, the rearward-changing pattern should create the illusion of movement. The name of the special version is written on the C-pillar, so that it is a special Juke will not be missed quickly. Finally, the car is enthroned on the 19-inch wheels that we also know from the Juke Tekna, only in this case they are finished in black.

Technically, the Kiiro sticks to the familiar. The Kiiro version therefore also simply has the 114 hp 1.0 driepitter in its nose and is available with both the six-speed manual and the DCT7 automatic transmission. Limited though: there will only be 500 of these, which will be available from March. Nissan has not yet announced a price. Nice detail: the Juke Kiiro is the first Juke with the new Nissan logo on it.
