Nissan Micra extremely subtly renewed

Nissan has given the Micra a ‘facelift’. Actually, it can be better described as a model year update, because in appearance little or nothing has changed on the compact Nissan. However, the possibilities for personalization have increased and, according to Nissan, it is at the same time easier to put together the Micra.

Currently, the Micra is available in six different trim levels: the Visia, Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna, N-Sport and N-Style. That will be five. The Visia, Acenta, Tekna and N-Sport are allowed to stay, but Nissan is also adding the N-Design trim level. From now on, Micra customers can have the inserts in the front bumper and at the bottom of the doors finished in black or chrome if desired. In addition, new 16-inch two-tone alloy wheels are available, these are standard on the N-Design and Tekna. LED lighting is now also optional on the lower versions, where it was previously exclusively reserved for the more expensive versions. For those who really want to jump out of the band, the N-Design is available with a bright orange interior.

It remains with the changed trim levels and the slight cosmetic adjustments, because otherwise Nissan has not done anything to the Micra. The hatchback still has the same multimedia system as before. The security systems are also unchanged. The 1.0 IG-T three-cylinder has also remained as the only available engine choice. Nissan does not provide any technical specifications for the time being, but does say that the block from now on meets the Euro 6D emission standard. Since at Renault the previously 100 hp power source now has to do with 90 hp, it is obvious that the Micra will undergo the same change. The specifications for the Dutch market, as well as the prices for the renewed Micra, will follow soon.
