We dive into the huge range of new games in the App Store and pick the gems. These are the best iOS games from last month.
Best iOS Games November 2018
You don’t have to get bored this month either. You can get started with the new game from the makers of Machinarium, get on the wrong side in the latest installment of the Kingdom Rush series, and even Assassin’s Creed is sneaking its way onto your iPhone. What are you going to play?
1. Chuchel
Chuchel is a ball of fabric with a hat that is very hungry for a cherry. However, the fruit is always just out of reach. In all kinds of situations you have to help to grab the cherry. Basically, that means you tap on every object and creature to see what happens. That is never boring, because something funny always happens. Think of the game as a kind of interactive cartoon from the creators of the excellent Machinarium.
2. Kingdom Rush Vengeance
The best tower defense series is back with a new installment. However, Kingdom Rush Vengeance does things just a little bit differently. You get into the shoes of the bad guys this time. Although the game still has the same basic gameplay, where you build towers to outsmart the opponent, it still feels fresh. It is a pity that the game clearly encourages you to spend money, while you already pay 5.49 euros to be allowed to play.

3. Spitkiss
Spitkiss is about creatures who fall in love at first sight. That moment is visualized in different levels, in which you maneuver spit from one character to another to convey messages. That sounds dirtier than it is. In practice, Spitkiss is simply an original puzzle platform game with a nice decoration.
4. Assassin’s Creed: Rebellion
The popular Assassin’s Creed series is making its way to smartphones, but not in the way you’d expect. Your goal is to build a base in this game where the ‘Brotherhood’ can grow. You send teams of three characters on missions to earn materials for your base. The more you play and gain experience, the more options you get and assassins you unlock. Don’t play too much though, because then this free-to-play game will hold you back with an energy system.
5. Old School RuneScape
Have you played RuneScape before? Then you can now reminisce with Old School RuneScape on your iPhone. It is a bit fiddly on that small screen, but the full game is playable. If you’ve never played RuneScape, now is your chance to give it a try. Please note: the game is quite outdated and quite boring by current standards. Yet it is also a piece of game history that you must see once. And if you like it, you can put in it for tens to hundreds of hours.
