Optional side mirrors for Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator

Excited to dabble around with your Jeep Wrangler or Gladiator that you just screwed off the doors for that little bit of extra thrills, but still want to be able to see something like side mirrors? Then FCA’s accessories department Mopar has the perfect solution from now on.

The Jeep Gladiator, like the Wrangler, features a range of removable body panels. As with previous generations of Wrangler, the doors of the car can be screwed and the windscreen can be folded forward. With the most recent generations of Jeep’s off-roaders, this is even easier than before. The frame of the windscreen is made of aluminum, just like the doors. Anyone who walks around doorless, however, has to do without side mirrors. These are normally attached to the doors. If you still want to be able to peek back through more than the rear-view mirror, you can now turn to FCA’s accessories department Mopar.

Mopar is adding a set of side mirrors to its catalog that is partly attached to the top hinge of the front door. According to Mopar, the robust looking whole provides a view to the rear that is almost identical to the image that the models housed on the doors offer. The side mirrors to be attached yourself must also provide a virtually vibration-free image. The side mirrors have a suggested retail price of less than $ 300 in the United States.
