Do it, or wait for the new one?
A completely new generation of the Skoda Kodiaq will be available at Dutch dealers from mid-2024. The outgoing generation is still available until then, but will become several thousand euros more expensive at the last minute.
In October, Skoda pulled the curtains on the all-new Kodiaq. Anyone who is charmed by this will have to be patient a little longer. After all, it won’t hit the Dutch market until May next year. We don’t yet know what the Czech will cost. What we do know is that the ‘old Kodiaq’ will continue to be available for order for a while, but will rise in price at the last minute.
The delivery range of the Skoda Kodiaq will be quite clear as of January 1, 2024. From that moment on, Skoda’s largest SUV is only available with the 150 hp 1.5 TSI petrol engine in combination with a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission. You can only choose from the Business Edition and Sportline Business versions. These will become more expensive in the new year.
The price of the Skoda Kodiaq 1.5 TSI with automatic transmission, designed as a Business Line, will soon cost €48,890. That is €3,000 more than it currently costs for a month. For the Skoda Kodiaq 1.5 TSI with automatic transmission, designed as Sportline Business, you will pay €51,890 as of January 1. That is €4,500 more than what it is currently listed for in the configurator. The price increase is related to a change in the way in which the bpm is calculated with effect from 2024. We previously saw something similar at BMW.
