Overland-E Gen 2 Monaco

In March, the British Overland-E showed the first digital drawings of the Gen 2, an electric buggy-like that has now been presented in production form. A lot has changed in appearance, but not in the intended electric range of more than 1,200 kilometers!

The Overland-E Gen 2 is a true leisure machine. The always electrically powered buggy-like has no doors and looks nice and adventurous in every appearance. Speaking of those flavors: the Gen 2 will be available as a Monaco ‘urban use’ and as an Explorer, a variant that should be able to hold its own in almost any terrain.

The Overland-E Gen 2 Monaco will only be available as a 450. You can already feel it coming, it has a range of 450 miles. So more than 720 kilometers. Overland-E does not yet report how large the battery pack and how powerful the electric motors are. We do know that the Gen 2 Monaco 450 should cost about €135,000 converted.

The Explorer version will also be available as a 450, but will also receive a variant called 750. Yes. the Gen 2 Explorer 750 should be able to reach a range of 1,207 kilometers. Unlike the 450s that come with two or four seats. the Explorer 750 will only be available as a two-seater.

The Overland-E Gen 2 looks extra rugged as an Explorer.

Overland-E’s ambitions go further than the two versions of the Gen 2. For example, the company says that the Gen 2 on a modular skateboardplatform, where it will also put a slew of other cars on it. The first copies of the Overland-E Gen 2 should be built in mid-2023.
