Pay with iDEAL via the bank’s app

Paying via a bank app on the phone has now become commonplace. Logical because it goes quickly and safely. It is even safer than internet banking via the browser. All banking apps are code protected. So that the app cannot be opened without further ado. And of course it is wise to secure the smartphone yourself. So that after loss or theft, the phone cannot be used just like that.

Each bank has its own app. And of course they all work differently. They generally follow the same steps. You buy something online and choose to pay via iDEAL. In the next step you select your own bank. Then the bank app opens, you log in as usual and pay the amount. Finally, you will be sent back to the web store and you will see that the payment has arrived. Below we list the steps for the most used banking apps. • Select the option at ‘Choose a bank’ ING.
• The ING app starts. Enter your 5-digit PIN code.
• Check the transfer and tap Send.
• Enter your 5-digit PIN to confirm payment.
• Tap on Complete order.

You return to the website of the web store. Wait a moment and you will see a confirmation that the payment was successful.

• When making an online payment, choose iDEAL.
• Select the option at ‘Choose a bank’ ABN Amro.
• The ABN-Amro app starts. Enter your 5-digit PIN code.
• Check the transfer and tap Pay.
• The payment was successful. Tap on Go to webshop (iPhone/iPad) or Back to the webshop (Android device).

You return to the website of the web store. Wait a moment and you will see a confirmation that the payment was successful.

• When making an online payment, choose iDEAL.
• Select the option at ‘Choose a bank’ Rabobank.
• The Rabobank app starts. Enter your 5-digit PIN code.
• Check the transfer and tap Next one.
• Tap on Sign.
• Enter your 5-digit PIN to confirm payment.
• Tap on Continue.

You return to the website of the web store. Wait a moment and you will see a confirmation that the payment was successful.

• When making an online payment, choose iDEAL.
• Select the option at ‘Choose a bank’ SNS Bank.
• The SNS app starts. Enter your 5-digit PIN code.
• Check the transfer and tap Further.
• Enter your 5-digit PIN to confirm payment.
• Tap on Complete payment.

You return to the website of the web store. Wait a moment and you will see a confirmation that the payment was successful.
