Slightly different

The brand new and fully electric Peugeot e-3008 can already be admired in all its glory. Although it certainly has its similarities with the brand’s current models, it is also clearly the beginning of a new chapter.
The unveiling of the brand new Peugeot e-3008 is planned for next week, but photos of the electric SUV have already been shared on the Spanish Cochespias.net. We immediately see the new Peugeot e-3008 from almost all angles. It is unmistakably a Peugeot, but one with some striking new details.
For example, as we expected based on the teasers earlier this week, we see the model name written out between the grille and the hood. This is done in a striking slot that separates the grille from the hood. A style element that we know from Audi, for example, but not yet from Peugeot. The lighting also connects to this and optically the three ‘claws’ (like the facelifted 208 and 508 already have) of those light units flow into the grille. At the back, it is particularly noticeable how high the buttocks of the e-3008 are and this is further accentuated by sharp folds that slope towards each other upwards. Although the Peugeot e-3008 has some 408 features as expected, it does look clearly stockier, higher and is also clearly a bit shorter.
Peugeot e-3008
As mentioned, the full and official unveiling of the Peugeot e-3008 is not far away. The time is next Tuesday. In any case, we can count on an electric version that can go up to about 700 km on a full battery. A considerable leap compared to the current electric Peugeots, because the Peugeot e-3008 is on the new dedicated STLA Medium platform.
UPDATE 8-9: Peugeot has now, undoubtedly not entirely coincidentally, shared the four leaked photos in better quality itself. “We notice that you are impatient… Peugeot cannot resist sharing a glimpse of its design creativity.”
