Peugeot unveils electric e-Partner

Van Land is a new and new compact electric commercial vehicle richer. Peugeot is adding the fully electric version of the Partner to its delivery range. This brand new Peugeot e-Partner will be at Dutch dealers from the second half of this year.

Peugeot is expanding its range with the e-Partner, the fully electric version of the Partner van. To be clear, this is not an electric version of the personal version of the Partner, which is called Rifter. The e-Partner is, of course, technically identical to the electric Opel Combo-e and Citroën ë-Berlingo Van previously presented by Peugeot’s sister brands. Toyota’s ProAce City related to the Combo, Berlingo and Partner will also receive an electric variant, the ProAce City Electric. After that, the quad is complete, although it would not surprise us if – now that Groupe PSA and FCA Automobiles have merged into Stellantis – Fiat will eventually get its own version that may function as the new Doblo. Okay, back to the e-Partner.

The e-Partner is Peugeot’s third electric commercial vehicle after the electric e-Expert and e-Boxer. Just like its electric brothers, the e-Partner has a 50 kWh battery pack in its bottom, an electric lung capacity that is good for a range of 275 kilometers regardless of the chosen length. An 11 kW three-phase charger is standard. The battery pack can be charged with a charging capacity of up to 100 kW on a fast charger. In about 30 minutes, an empty package can be filled up to 80 percent of its capacity with electricity. The front axle has a 136 hp and 260 Nm strong electric motor. The e-Partner thus reaches a speed of 100 km / h in 11.2 seconds. Its top speed is limited to 130 km / h.

Like the Combo-e and ë-Berlingo Van, the electric Peugeot e-Partner is available in two lengths. The Standard baptized basic version is 4.4 meters long and has a loading length of 1.81 meters and a loading volume of 3.3 cubic meters. The longer Long version extends over a distance of 4.75 meters and also has a longer wheelbase of 2.97 meters. The loading length of this longer Partner is 2.16 meters, which gives the plug-in Partner a loading volume of 4.4 cubic meters. The payload of both versions is 800 kilos and with both electric versions you can tow up to 750 kilos.

The first copies were delivered in the second half of this year. Prices will follow in the run-up to the market launch.
