Performance Philips OLED807 Ambilight TV
The sixth-generation P5 AI processor has been improved by adding more ‘intelligence’ to the integration of the television’s light sensor into the AI functionality. The enhanced version of the P5 processor’s Ambient Intelligence monitors the current ambient light and adjusts brightness, gamma and colors in real time. As a result, the contrast for the SDR and HDR content is always optimized. Furthermore, thanks to the P5 AI processor on their TV, viewers can indicate their preference by choosing the options Eye Care, Dark Detail Optimization or Color Temperature Optimization.
According to Philips TV, the Philips OLED807 is also well suited to gamers through advanced gaming with HDMI 2.1 capabilities, including: e-Arc, VRR support for 4K from 40 Hz to 120 Hz with a bandwidth of 38 Gbps, FreeSync Premium and G- SYNC compatibility and finally Auto Game and Auto Low Latency Modes.
The new on-screen Game Bar provides quick access to picture and sound settings via a simplified menu that allows you to quickly check or adjust game settings. Gamers can also enable VRR, NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync.
Also, the Philips OLED807 features Philips TV’s unique anti-burn-in technology that uses advanced logo detection technology that monitors a grid of zones to accurately detect static content and gradually reduce the intensity of the local light output. This prevents burn-in without compromising the output of other parts of the screen.
Finally, smart tasks are handled by the latest Android 11 TV operating system which offers a user-friendly interface with built-in Google Assistant via the push-to-talk option on the remote and Works With Alexa compatibility.
