The update rolls out immediately and also offers a lot of great things for people without an iPad. Darkroom is a free app with in-app purchases. It’s the biggest update since its launch in 2015 and is rolling out to everyone right away.
1. Support for your iPad
The biggest addition is that the app now works on all iOS devices, including your iPad. You can edit photos in both landscape and portrait mode: the layout adapts automatically. Extra handy is that from now on you can use a keyboard so that the process is even more efficient.
With the arrows you go to the next photo while you correct an error with command button + the Z key. You can also tap the screen twice to go back an action.
2. More overview
In addition, your photos will now be automatically placed in an album. These are immediately shown as soon as you open the app in landscape mode on your iPad. You have a direct overview of your library.
Another handy addition is the photo gallery on the side. This is automatically shown when you use Darkroom in landscape mode on your iPad. The best thing is that you can move, copy or delete photos directly by long pressing the image.
3. Color Correction

Finally, Darkroom also announces a partnership with Moment On. From now on, this camera app, with which you can edit a photo directly, has integration with Darkroom.
