Apple users will appreciate iCloud for its excellent integration with macOS and iOS. Actually this is one no-brainer If you mainly work with Apple devices and therefore stay in the macOS/iOS ecosystem. The service makes it easy to synchronize files, photos and settings among all your Apple devices.
With 5 GB free storage, iCloud offers a reasonable starting point, while the paid subscriptions offer excellent value: 50 GB for € 0.99 per month or 2 TB for € 9.99 per month.
The biggest advantage of iCloud is the simple effect within the ecosystem: you don’t have to perform manual configurations, everything just works. For users who do not have Apple devices, however, the functionality is limited, making iCloud less attractive for a wider (Windows and/or Android) audience.
