The App Store is overflowing with photo editing apps, but the brand new Fuzion does it differently. This cool app lets you combine selfies and portrait photos with vibrant filters from real photos. This way you create works of art time and time again.
Fuzion app makes your selfies original
The editing program Fuzion has appeared in the App Store, and offers a refreshing way to spice up your selfies and portraits. The app focuses on making double exposure-photos. This means that you take a photo of a silhouette and fill it in with a second photo of, for example, a landscape.
This creates a mysterious and impressive picture. Normally it takes quite a bit of messing around in Photoshop, for example, to create this, but Fuzion makes it accessible to everyone.
For example, there are dozens of photos by professional photographers in the app that you can use as a filter. In addition, you can add all kinds of effects via a simple menu. All you have to do is upload a selfie or portrait photo and the rest is self-explanatory.
With each effect you can adjust the intensity or color, so that you can combine endlessly and not fall back on the same creations so quickly. When you are done, you can save the photos directly or share them via Instagram or other social media.
Exclusive to large iPhones
If you have an iPhone 8 or older, though, you’re out of luck. The app does not (yet) work with these iPhones, but only with the iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X and newer. It’s unclear why the app’s creator chose to support only the newer ‘big’ iPhones.
The app is free to download, but the free version is limited. You can choose from a filter and some colored backgrounds, but don’t adjust them further. For example, the free version is not enough to make multiple unique images. To be able to use all filters and functions, you have to pay 3.49 euros once.
