Zero Motorcycles has appointed Pierre-Martin Bos as its new Chief Executive Officer. He succeeds Sam Paschel, who, after eight years of inspiring leadership, is transitioning to an advisory role within the board. With this appointment, Zero brings an experienced leader on board at an important time of growth and innovation.

Under Paschel’s leadership, Zero Motorcycles transformed from pioneer to global player in electric powersports. During his tenure, the brand expanded its presence to more than thirty countries, established strategic partnerships and strengthened its reputation as a technology leader.
Major achievements were the launch of the award-winning DSR/X adventure motorcycle and the introduction of the X-Line, which makes electric off-road experiences accessible to a wider audience. Paschel also placed a strong focus on customer experience, quality and team culture — pillars that Zero believes form the basis for the brand’s sustainable success.
Pierre-Martin Bos, who brings more than twenty years of international experience in the automotive industry, looks forward to building on that foundation. “Sam’s vision, passion and dedication transformed Zero into a global leader in electric mobility,” says Bos. “I am honored to build on that strong foundation and lead Zero into its next era of innovation and growth.”

Bos was until recently director of Purpose Built Vehicles at Kia Europe and previously held management positions at Stellantis, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and Kia. In those roles, he was responsible for strategic growth, international expansion and operational excellence in Europe, Africa and Asia.
With his international view, strategic insight and customer-oriented approach, Bos is known as a leader who knows how to innovate and grow brands in dynamic markets. His appointment marks the start of a new chapter for Zero Motorcycles — one in which the brand aims to further strengthen its leading position in electric two-wheelers, while continuing to innovate at the boundaries of performance, sustainability and design.
