Patent Cupra Terramar

Cupra has three brand new models in stock. One of these is the Cupra Terramar, which will be launched next year. AutoWeek can already show you that Cupra Terramar from all angles.

Last year, Cupra conjured up three new models with a smooth movement that it will market in the coming years. The production version of the fully electric UrbanRebel will arrive in 2025, but we can already expect the Cupra Tavascan and the Terramar in 2024. The Cupra Tavascan will be an MEB-based fully electric SUV. We were able to show you that model extensively on a patent image in September last year and today we can present you the Terramar.

Cupra has already briefly shown the Terramar itself, but we did not get any further than an official image showing the car three-quarters from the front and a handful of photos of the car on the podium. AutoWeek has surfaced the patent drawings of the Cupra Terramar from one of the international patent offices, so we now have the car in view from all angles.

Cupra Terramar

The Cupra Terramar will be a 4.5 meter long SUV that, unlike the Tavascan and Urban Rebel – which will be renamed – will be available with combustion engines. The Terramar does not miss the electrification boat, after all, the car will also be available with one or more plug-in hybrid powertrains. For the plug-in versions, Cupra already stated an electric range of up to about 100 kilometers. The Cupra Terramar will be a technical brother of the next generation Audi Q3 and will therefore also run off the production line in Györ, Hungary. There is now production space left, since the Audi TT that is still being built there will not have a direct successor.

Fun fact: although the final Cupra Terramar and Tavascan have yet to be revealed, the first units in Spain have already been signed.
