Poco will launch two budget phones on Monday, February 28: the X4 Pro 5G and M4 Pro. The X4 Pro will be the more powerful of the two and in fact we can expect the Redmi Note 11 Pro presented under a new name.
Poco X4 Pro 5G
With the Galaxy S22 series announced this month, we can expect a lot of other smartphone launches in the coming weeks and months. Poco’s turn is on Monday 28 February, because according to a message on Twitter the brand will launch the X4 Pro 5G and the M4 Pro that day.
It was already leaked about the Poco X4 Pro that it has a rebrand is from another phone from the Xiaomi family: the Redmi Note 11 Pro. Xiaomi announced the device in China in October and the global launch followed in January 2022. The Poco X4 Pro is expected to get a 108MP main camera, a Dimensity 920 chipset that enables 5G and a 6.6-inch LCD panel. The battery is expected to be a 5,000 mAh unit that charges with a 33W fast charger.
Poco M4 Pro
The M4 Pro will be less powerful compared to the X4 Pro. It is also a lighter variant of the Poco M4 Pro 5G that the brand already brought to the Netherlands and Belgium in November. It remains to be seen to what extent this phone will resemble the 5G version. Poco may also opt for a rebranding of an existing budget phone with 4G with this device.
You will be able to follow the Poco event on February 28 on the brand’s YouTube channel. The presentation will start at 1:00 PM and Poco will organize the launch at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
