Ghostbusters World is now available for free download from the App Store. The game is similar to Pokémon GO, but full of ghosts.

While we’re still waiting for Harry Potter: Wizards Unite from Pokémon GO creator Niantic, you can now get started in the world of Ghostbusters. So put on overalls, put that proton pack on your back and watch out for all that green slime.
With Ghostbusters World you step into the real world with your iPhone. Here you can find all kinds of ghosts that you have to beat. You do that by first weakening them and then catching them. To do this, hold the ghosts with a beam and move them towards a placed trap. Meanwhile, you have to watch out for attacks.
You can access the ghost dimension through portals in the world. Your proton pack won’t work there, so you’ll have to fight with your collected and trained ghosts. That works like a turn-based battle, in which the creatures take turns doing an action. You choose normal or special attacks in these battles.
Extensive
The game is quite extensive. Not only are there a ton of ghosts to collect, but there is also a story told like a comic. There are also various weapons and other upgrades for sale, you can fight against each other with your collected ghosts and much more. Many actions in the game take time, but of course you can spend money to not have to wait.
The game is also full of recognizable elements from the movies. For example, all famous characters from the original trilogy return and the famous soundtrack blows out of your iPhone (I ain’t afraid of no ghost!).
