Entry from less than €45,000, so subsidy!
The Polestar 2 will be thousands of euros cheaper in the Netherlands. Its starting price drops by a good 6 grand and is now €44,950. AutoWeek can report this exclusively. This means that for the first time you can buy the electric Polestar 2 with SEPP subsidy assistance.
Until now, the Polestar 2 had a starting price of €51,200. This decreases by no less than €6,250 to €44,950. This includes €1,300 in preparation costs, so you are eligible for a SEPP subsidy with the entry-level Polestar 2. The starting price applies to the Polestar 2 Standard Range Single Motor. It has a 272 hp electric motor on the rear axle and with its 69 kWh battery it has a range of up to 546 kilometers.
As before, the Polestar 2 is available as a Long Range Single Motor and as a Long Range Dual Motor. The Polestar 2 Long Range Single Motor was previously in the order books for €55,200, but will now change hands from €51,200. This variant has therefore become 4 grand cheaper. The fiscal price (list value, excluding road preparation costs) is €49,900, so you will miss the SEPP subsidy ship from this version onwards. The Polestar 2 Long Range Single Motor has a 299 hp electric motor on the rear axle and an 82 kWh battery. This combination is good for a driving range of up to 655 kilometers.
The price of the Polestar 2 Long Range Dual Motor is also falling. That drops to €55,200. The Polestar 2 Long Range Dual Motor has two electric motors with a combined 421 hp and an 82 kWh battery. This means you can reach 100 km/h from a standstill in just 4.5 seconds. The range of the Polestar 2 Long Range Dual Motor is up to 593 kilometers. The Polestar 2 Long Range Dual Motor with Performance Pack – which will remain – was previously in the order books for €66,400 and now costs €61,700. That is €4,700 less than before. With 476 hp, this flavor is even more powerful than the Dual Motor and reaches 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds. Its range is more limited at a maximum of 468 kilometers.
