Polestar 4 is considerably less SUV than Polestar 3
Polestar CEO Thomas Ingenlath posts a photo on Twitter that shows not only the Polestar 3 and 5, but also the barely visible Polestar 4. Ingenlath cannot resist giving a sneer to Tesla CEO Elon Musk in an accompanying letter.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has been a gifted Twitterer for years. Now that Musk owns Twitter, the way he uses the social medium is not always free of criticism. Polestar CEO Thomas Ingenlath posted an image on Twitter showing the Polestar 3, 4 and 5. Ingenlath added, “We may not have mastered the art of using Twitter to our advantage, but we don’t lack the skill to develop great EVs and market our cars.”
Apart from that comment – however necessary or unnecessary it may be – Ingenlath’s Twitter post is also interesting for another reason. In the photo that Ingenlath shares, we see the Polestar 4 pretty well for the first time. Polestar has already shown the upcoming Polestar 4 under a canvas, but now the shape of the new EV can be seen a lot more clearly. The Polestar 4 will be a relatively high liftback and is therefore significantly ‘less SUV’ than the Polestar 3.
The Polestar 4 should make its public debut this year. Polestar also has the Polestar 5 and 6 in the pipeline.
