Manhart TR 900 Porsche 911

Normally you already have an almost insanely strong 911 with the Porsche 911 GT2 RS, but Manhart was apparently not extreme enough. The tuner presents the TR 900, which takes it up a notch.

With the huge range of versions in which the current Porsche 911 (992) is available, you would hardly think that one is still missing. Yet that is the case: the GT2 RS is still waiting. Manhart doesn’t want to hold back any longer, so he grabs the GT2 RS of the 991 (in Weissach gear) by the hand to make something very extreme out of it. The result is this TR 900 baptized creation, where ‘900’ stands for the power rounded down.

You read that right; this Porsche 911 GT2 RS has a capacity of well over 900 hp. 945 hp to be exact. The maximum torque is an equally awesome 1,050 Nm. That is quite a leap from the 700 hp and 750 Nm that the 3.8 biturbo six-cylinder boxer engine of the 911 GT2 RS normally delivers. Manhart has adjusted the engine management for this, but of course more was needed to make that power possible and not to screw things up immediately. For example, the TR 900 has larger turbos, a special intercooler kit and a larger cooling fan. Also new is the aluminum manifold. To handle the forces, the seven-speed PDK automatic transmission has also been addressed.

It is not yet known how quickly the Manhart TR 900 will move from its place. Count on about 2 seconds for the 0 to 100 km / h sprint, the regular GT2 RS does it in 2.8 seconds. Then things should be able to calm down a bit decently. Normally, the 911 GT2 RS is already very well equipped for cornering and braking and Manhart considers the standard carbon-ceramic brakes sufficient for the TR 900. The chassis has been modified, although the tuner does not explain this further. What has in any case visibly changed is the appearance. The TR 900 distinguishes itself with its more extensive front spoiler with mesh in the intakes, thicker side skirts and an expanded diffuser. The whole is decorated with carbon fiber accents and a green-gold color scheme. It is not yet known what the conversion of a Porsche 911 GT2 RS to a Manhart TR 900 will cost.
