More buttlift than facelift

Porsche is working on a facelift for the 911. The Porsche 911 actually gets more of a buttlift than a facelift, although the changes to the rear are also quite minimal.
Porsche has been on the road with various wrapped 911s since 2022, because the 992 generation is being remade. One last appeared in October, probably a 911 GTS. Today we look at a partially wrapped Porsche 911 Turbo, recognizable among other things by its double chutes on the corners at the bottom of its rear.
Take a good look at the stern of this 911, because that’s where the biggest news is. From now on, the bottom LED bars no longer rise in a corner at the end. The lighting also looks a bit more straightforward and the lower ‘stripes’ LED lighting (which houses the indicators) extends a bit further towards the center of the butt.
At the front, as we are used to, it remains more of the same. Porsche does seem to be going for a light signature that is – albeit subtly – reminiscent of that of fresher models such as the new Panamera and even the updated Taycan. Also count on modified bumper work. We expect the unveiling of the refreshed Porsche 911 in the first half of this year, but this Turbo may have to wait a little longer.
