Porsche Cayenne Coupé as GTS outside the door

The Porsche Cayenne Coupé is already available in various flavors, but a GTS version is not yet available. We have good news for those who are too small for a Cayenne Coupé S but a Macan Turbo. The Cayenne Coupé will also be available as a GTS.

The Cayenne Coupé is, just like the regular Cayenne, already available in various flavors. The delivery list starts with the 340 hp variant that is simply called Cayenne Coupé, a variant that must recognize its superior in the 440 hp Cayenne S Coupé and the 462 hp E-Hybrid. The hybrid taste must then tolerate the 550 hp Cayenne Turbo Coupé and the 680 hp plug-in hybrid Turbo S E-Hybrid Coupé. The line-up will soon be expanded with a new sixth variant, a car that has now been caught in the snow.

The GTS version is traditionally the version that closes the gap between the S and the Turbo. In this case, that would mean that the power of the Cayenne Coupé GTS, and that of the regular Cayenne GTS, is between 440 hp and 550 hp. Porsche already has the 462 hp E-Hybrid that falls in between. It could just be that Porsche puts the Cayenne GTS higher on the power ladder, but that is as yet unclear.

A striking feature of this red test sample is the placement of the exhausts. On both sides of the rear bumper we see two exhaust tailpipes, but also two chutes in the middle. The Cayenne GTS has never had its exhausts there, but the central placement of the exhaust pipes is traditionally a design feature of the 911 GTS. We still have to wait for certainty, Porsche may release more information about the new Cayenne taste later this year.
