Porsche never sits still. Behind the scenes, it is working hard on a fully electric sister model of the Macan, but the Cayenne is not forgotten either. It will soon receive a facelift and a series of spy photos already show the renewed Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid.

Time flies. The Porsche Cayenne has been working on its third generation since 2017, so a modernized version of the SUV has been thinking hard in Stuttgart for a while. These photos show the top version of the regular Cayenne in camouflage suit, the Turbo S E-Hybrid. That plug-in hybrid is the top version for the ‘conventional’ Cayenne, but takes on the role of sub-topper in the Cayenne Coupé. After all, the Cayenne Coupé is also available as a supreme Turbo GT. Okay, back to the facelift. It really does seem to change things.

The renewed Cayenne gets smaller and especially flatter headlights, which on this copy are still richly accompanied by misleading camouflage work. In addition, the front bumper of this Turbo S E-Hybrid has a more angular design, although milder motorized Cayennes will of course receive more subtly stylized copies. The interior is also partly revised. We observe, among other things, a modified center tunnel, containing a small selector lever for the automatic transmission as we know it from the 911. So no big choice stick anymore for the Cayenne. The infotainment screen, which has been provisionally screwed into the dashboard, indicates that innovations are also being implemented in this area.
