Porsche matches 911 Turbo S ‘Duet’ with private jet

Porsche is looking higher. In collaboration with aircraft manufacturer Embraer, the Stuttgart sports car brand is introducing a special 992 Turbo S ‘Duet’ that is tuned to the Phenom 300E private jet. You just have to order the plane first.

The special 992 Turbo S comes from the case of Porsche Exclusive. To begin with, the Turbo S has been equipped with the SportDesign package. The special Elfer has a two-tone composition, with the underside of the doors and bumpers painted in satin-gloss Jet Gray Metallic and the rest of the bodywork in Platinum Silver Metallic. The two colors are separated from each other by a double white line, above which a thin blue line is applied very subtly. The blue also returns in a subtle way in the wheels. The underside of the rear wing is also blue and contains the aircraft identification number. This way everyone on the road can see that you still have a plane in a hangar somewhere.

To complete the link with aviation, the car’s sills read ‘No Step’, a warning that lights up in red. The interior contains a combination of chalk and black leather. Here too, the color blue shines through subtly, namely in the stitching and on the indicator at the top of the steering wheel. Furthermore, the Sport Chrono clock has a horizontal line to simulate the gyroscope in the cockpit of the aircraft. As extra gifts, the customer receives a matching luggage set and an indoor car cover with a ‘remove before flight’ handle.

Special logo

Porsche Exclusive lives up to its name, because a placard in the interior further emphasizes that only ten copies of this 992 Turbo S will be built. The collaboration with Embraer is called ‘Duet’ and is further evidenced by a specially designed logo that is present on both the car and the aircraft. The logo shows the larger wing of the Phenom 300E, with a smaller rear wing of the Elfer. In order to get the special 911, you must first order the plane. The Phenom 300E starts at € 7.9 million, but it is obvious that this special edition will cost a lot more. A price for the 992 Turbo S is not quoted by Porsche, but would that be something that really worries a buyer of a private jet?
