Available this year

In the market for an electric Volkswagen, but do you think the ID3 is too small and you don’t need an SUV? Then the Volkswagen ID7 offers a solution. The electric Volkswagen ID7 was unveiled earlier this year and now it is known what it will cost. Don’t be alarmed: the Volkswagen ID7 has a provisional starting price of almost 64 grand.
Just like almost every other new model nowadays, the Volkswagen ID7 debuts in the Netherlands in a special introductory version. In the case of the Volkswagen ID7, it is a temporary introductory version with a remarkably common name: Pro Business. The Volkswagen ID7 costs €63,990 as a Pro Business and the first copies will be delivered this year.
The Volkswagen ID7 Pro Business has a 77 kWh battery pack and a 286 hp and 545 Nm strong electric motor on the rear axle. This combination helps the 4.96 meter long liftback have an electric range of up to 599 kilometers. Fast charging is possible with a maximum of 175 kW. The ID7 Pro Business sprints from a standstill to a speed of 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds. Its top speed: 180 km/h.

Good news for those who have a trailer or caravan: the ID7 can tow up to 1,000 kilos, although this obviously has consequences for the range. However, the electrically deployable towbar will cost you €1,100 extra. Next year, Volkswagen will also bring the ID7 to the Netherlands as a Pro S. It will have an 86 kWh battery pack and should be able to squeeze up to 700 electric kilometers from its battery. A station wagon version of the ID7 will also follow later: the ID7 Variant.
Equipment Volkswagen ID7 Pro Business
As a Pro Business, the Volkswagen ID7 packs quite a punch. It has standard LED matrix lighting and therefore also the horizontal strip between the headlights that optically connects the viewers. It stands on 20-inch alloy wheels, has Keyless Access and has the Discover Pro infotainment system with a 15-inch screen as standard. Also from the party: one augmented reality head-up display, electrically adjustable and heated front seats, three-zone climate control, Travel Assist and therefore adaptive cruise control and a 360-degree camera. Those who do not pay extra will receive the ID7 in the color Moonstone Gray with a black roof. An ID7 painted in Gletcher White or Scale Silver with a black roof will cost you €1,100 extra, as will an ID7 painted entirely in black. The most expensive color is called Aquamarine Blue and is combined with a black roof. This will cost you €1,300 extra.
Volkswagen ID7: the optional light interior.
The ID7 can be optionally equipped with a heat pump (€1,100) and with the €2,500 Exterior Package Plus, which, in addition to a dimmable panoramic roof, also brings progressive steering, an adaptive chassis, tinted rear side windows and sound-insulating glass all around to the ID7. For an additional €2,250 you can order the Interior Package Plus in dark gray with black or in a combination of white and black. In addition to other upholstery, this also adds ventilated front seats with massage function and an extensive audio system from Harman Kardon to the equipment.
