Prices of the renewed Subaru XV announced

Subaru gives the XV a mild refresh. The crossover has been sharpened at detail level, whereby the appearance was slightly modified and the four-wheel drive, among other things, received an upgrade. In the Netherlands, the renewed XV is slightly more expensive than was previously the case.

The facelifted Subaru XV was already known by an image that the brand released last January. All in all, the appearance differences with the facelift are minimal: the front bumper got a larger plastic insert in the middle and L-shaped silver-gray inserts on the sides. The skid plate is also new. In addition, the trim parts around the fog lights have been designed differently and Subaru tightened the grille, whereby the honeycomb motif had to make way for one horizontal and several vertical bars. The Subaru logo adorns a silver-colored horizontal section above. In addition, the XV is now on new 18-inch alloy and two paint colors have been added to the color palette: Plasma Yellow and Horizon Blue. Under the skin, Subaru revised the suspension by installing different springs and dampers and the X-mode mode of the four-wheel drive was improved, with Snow / Dirt and Snow / Mud modes now available.

In terms of safety, the XV advances through the EyeSight system, a camera with a 180-degree viewing angle that monitors the road ahead of the car and intervenes where necessary. That system is always available as standard. Other novelties for the XV include side mirrors that automatically tilt when the driver puts the car into reverse and a memory function for both the electrically adjustable driver’s seat and side mirrors. In addition, the XV gets a new 8-inch touchscreen and the display between the counters has also been revised. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also included.

A bit more expensive

For the facelifted XV, Subaru uses a starting price of € 47,445. Then you get the mild-hybrid 2.0i e-Boxer home in the Comfort version. That engine is also the only available power source for the XV in the Netherlands. The starting price is therefore slightly higher than the € 45,575 that Subaru previously asked for the basic version of the XV. In the Comfort, adaptive cruise control, automatic air conditioning, LED lighting and the 8-inch multimedia system are already standard features. The version above that is the Luxury, which for € 48,645 a high beam assistant, a blind spot indicator, integrated navigation with TomTom maps and an automatically dimming interior mirror. The most expensive version is the € 50,645 Premium, with leather upholstery, an eight-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat and a sliding / tilting glass roof.
