Put photos on the iPad/iPhone

Put photos on the iPad/iPhoneEasily transfer photos from the PC to the iPad or iPhone. This way you always have the best photos at hand.

Taking photos with the iPad or iPhone is done in no time. But sometimes you want to put old photos that are on the PC on the device as well. For example, to show it to someone when you visit or to set a different wallpaper on the device. In such a case, transfer the photos via Dropbox, OneDrive or iCloud.

Save photos to your account with Dropbox on the web. After that, easily open them on different devices. For example, on your PC, store photos in the Dropbox Photos folder. Make sure you are connected to the internet, so that the photos are also in the account. Then open the Dropbox app on the iPad or iPhone and here are the saved photos. Read here exactly how that works.

The OneDrive storage service works the same as Dropbox. Only this program is in Dutch and has more free storage space. Also in OneDrive you save photos to your account via a program on the PC or the browser. They can then be opened on other devices, as long as you log in to the same account. Do this on the iPhone and iPad via the OneDrive app.

The iCloud program is Apple itself and comes standard on iOS devices, such as a Mac, iPhone and iPad. But Windows users can also use the cloud service as usual: via special software or the internet browser. The photos that are placed in iCloud via the PC are then placed in the Photos app on the iPhone and iPad. But this also works the other way around. Read here how it works.

It is also possible to directly transfer photos from a digital camera or SD card to the iPad/iPad. For this you need a special adapter from Apple: a Lightning to USB camera adapter. Connects the digital camera to the iPad/iPhone. After that, the Photos app opens and it lists all the photos that are on the camera. Then choose which photos you want to transfer. It is not possible to connect a USB stick to the iPad or iPhone with this extension. But the Lightning to SD card reader connects an SD card directly to the device. This works the same as with the USB camera adapter. Read more information about transferring camera photos here.
