Ford has the F-150 Lightning, Chevrolet will have an electric Silverado and Ram is working on an all-electric alternative for its entry in the pick-up segment that is so popular in the United States. It doesn’t seem to be 1500 EV, but Ram 1500 Revolution. Ram is now releasing a new teaser plate of that electric pickup and announcing when the long-awaited electric 1500 will be unveiled.
The Ram 1500 Revolution will make its public debut in January at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. It is not a production model, but a concept car. So it’s quite possible that the final production version will lose the ‘Revolution’ part of its name.
The production version of the electric Ram 1500 will only debut in 2024. It will not only face electric pick-ups from Ford and Chevrolet, but also from brands such as Tesla and Rivian.
