In honor of the 75th anniversary of the Dodge Power Wagon, Ram has released a Power Wagon 75th Anniversary Edition. It is not only about external adjustments, because the Ram Power Wagon has various off-road extras on board.
The Ram Power Wagon looks pretty intimidating. To emphasize the off-road character, the pick-up is mounted on 17-inch wheels with 33-inch off-road tires. The grille has a horseshoe-shaped insert and comes in a dark gray matte color, just like the plastic bumpers at the front and rear. The bottom of the doors is painted black. Large ‘Power Wagon’ badges on the doors and tail lift make it immediately clear to bystanders what they are dealing with. In the dark brown leather interior, the badges are also omnipresent, namely on the backrests of the seats and on the center armrest. In the trim on the passenger side is a small plaque bearing the production number of each Power Wagon.
In addition to its appearance, the Ram Power Wagon is equipped with Off-road Pages, an application with which you can call up various statistics in the infotainment screen, such as the current ride height and angle of the pick-up. You can also lock the front and rear differentials on this screen. Furthermore, the Power Wagon is equipped with a reinforced and raised suspension and a winch. It is not reported exactly which engine is under the hood, but it is obvious that the 5.7-liter Hemi-V8 with an output of 395 hp was used for the Power Wagon. The special edition is available for $ 65,250 (€ 55,530). Quite solid on the price by American standards. But then you’re driving around in tribute to what was once Dodge’s first mass-produced all-wheel drive pickup: the 1945 Dodge Power Wagon.
