Record king Rimac Nevera wins another record

In the corner of car country where you impress each other by mentioning dizzying figures and bizarre records, the Rimac Nevera seems to be absolute lord and master. The Croatian powerhouse can now call itself the fastest production car ever on the Goodwood Festival of Speed hill climb.

The Rimac Nevera is an executioner of an electric supercar that already has the necessary records to its name. It is the fastest road-legal production car that sprints from a standstill to a speed of 100 km / h, the EV with the highest top speed and it managed to break no less than 23 other speed records in one day earlier this year. One has now been added to that long list of superfluous but undoubtedly well-scoring facts in circle discussions.

The Rimac Nevera is the production car that has completed the Goodwood Hill Climb in the shortest time ever. The record-breaking Nevera was on Michelin Pilot Sport 4S rubber and was chased up the short hill by test driver Miroslav Zrnčević. The more than 1,900 hp electric Rimac tore between the hay bales in 49.32 seconds over the 1.87-kilometer route. The McLaren Solus GT – a crazy track car – was the fastest this year with a time of 45.34 seconds.
