There are probably many apps on your phone or tablet. Sometimes you want to stop using an app and delete it permanently from the Android device.
Delete App
The apps you have downloaded can be removed from the device in several ways. For example via the Play Store, the store where you also download apps.
- Tap the app Play Store.
- Tap the icon with the three bars in the top left.
- A menu opens. Tap here My apps and games.
- A list of apps that are on the device opens. Tap on Installed.
- Tap the app you want to remove.
- Tap on remove > OK.
The app has been removed. Incidentally, apps that are standard on a device cannot be removed.
