Renault Captur available with LPG engine

Renault already delivers the new Captur in a number of gasoline versions and this year is also adding a plug-in hybrid to the delivery list: E-Tech. But there’s more. From now on you can also order the crossover with a LPG engine.

Dacia is currently busy rolling out a new LPG machine, a power source developed by Groupe Renault that it already supplies in the Sandero, Logan MCV and Duster. Renault has this officially designated 1.0 TCe Eco-G engine already on the price list of the Clio and from now on the Captur with the three-cylinder.

The Captur TCe 100 Bi-Fuel is available in the Life, Zen and Intense models, but must, just like the TCe 100 and the TCe 130 (manual gearbox), do not have an Initiale Paris version. The Captur TCe 100 Bi-Fuel designed as Life has a starting price of € 21,790. Renault charges € 23,690 and € 25,690 respectively for the Zen and Intens versions. In all cases, the engine, which requires both gasoline and LPG, is linked to a manual gearbox. The price difference with the regular TCe 100 is € 300.

The new LPG engine compresses 101 hp and 170 Nm from a 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine, a turbo engine that gives the Captur a top speed of 175 km / h. The average consumption on LPG is set at 6.6 l / 100 km. Anyone who runs on petrol must expect an average combined consumption of 5.4 l / 100 km. The petrol tank of the Captur TCe 100 Bi-Fuel is 48 liters just as large as that of the regular petrol versions. The LPG tank has a net capacity of 32 liters. You can order immediately.
