Renewed electric Peugeot e-2008 ready for debut

Are you charmed by the Peugeot 2008, but are you afraid that a modified variant will be in the showrooms shortly after ordering a new one? Then you don’t have to wait much longer. The revised Peugeot 2008 will make its debut in the first week of May.

Peugeot will present the facelifted 2008 to the world on May 4. The French undoubtedly pay a lot of attention to the electric Peugeot e-2008. After all, it will get a new electric powertrain. The sharpened e-2008 exchanges its 136 hp electric motor for a more powerful one that delivers 156 hp and would also be considerably more efficient. Together with the arrival of a larger battery pack (56 kWh gross), this should give the electric Peugeot 2008 a considerably larger range.

That Peugeot would soon renew the 2008 is of course no surprise. We have already been able to provide you with a digitally packed test copy twice. The Peugeot 2008 gets, among other things, a different grille and ditto front bumper. There’s not just technical around the electric e-2008. The current 1.2 PureTech petrol engines are making way for 48v mild hybrid powertrains. We will know more on May 4, and so will you!
