More power, more euros
The Honda Jazz has been facelifted. Before Honda publicizes it itself, AutoWeek can already tell you what the Japanese should cost. It is available from almost €32,000, making the starting price more than €4,500 higher than before. The price difference is relatively easy to explain.
At the beginning of this year, Honda presented the renewed Jazz, intended for the European and therefore also the Dutch market. You can recognize the facelifted Honda Jazz by its modified nose, but also technically the Jazz is slightly different from the original presented in 2020. For example, the Jazz e:HEV, which has always been hybrid in the Netherlands, had a system power of 109 hp. After the facelift, the system power is 122 hp. The starting price of the revised Jazz e:HEV is €31,660 in the Netherlands. That is more than €4,500 more than before. That’s right.
Honda adjusts the versions in which it offers the Jazz in the Netherlands. The delivery range of the previously started in the Netherlands with the €27,065 Comfort, but that version will be discontinued. From now on, the Elegance will be the basic model. It used to cost €28,880 and will change hands after the facelift from €31,660. Yes, the Jazz has definitely become more expensive, but the price difference at €2,780 is relatively small if you know that you get more power and finely ground technology in return, among other things.
The Executive disappears and makes way for a variant called Advance. Above that is the well-known Crosstar, which is now known as the Advance Crosstar and which again gives the Jazz a more crossover-like appearance. A step above that we find a new version, with the designation Advance Sport.
