Renewed Jaguar F-Pace SVR further tested

Jaguar is busy testing with the new F-Pace. Not only the regular F-Pace has already been spotted as a prototype several times, the heavy SVR version is also reappearing.

The Jaguar F-Pace has been representing Jaguar in the SUV market for five years and the British hope to get even more out of it in the coming years. A facelift for its largest SUV is in the works and the first test kilometers of the refreshed F-Pace already took place six months ago. The car resurfaced this winter under a solid layer of camouflage material and now we also see the SVR for the second time in a short time.

It is clear that the SVR, just like the regular F-Pace, remains largely true to the current recipe. So no major changes to the carriage on the way, so. The SVR is distinguished by the thicker front and rear bumper and the characteristic air slots behind the front wheels. The four exhausts at the rear, as well as the large wheels and brake discs, further clarify that we are dealing here with the strongest F-Pace. The external differences compared to the current F-Pace SVR will probably be limited to a slightly different layout of the front and rear bumper and new LED lighting.

In terms of technology, it is in line with the expectation that Jaguar has the previously revised variant of the 5.0-liter V8 with supercharger in the nose. Nowadays it delivers 575 hp in the new F-type, for example, so that would mean that the F-Pace SVR will have 25 hp more power at its disposal than now. For the time being it will still have to wait until it can be tested; the facelift of the F-Pace will probably easily take another six months.
